A downloadable game

You are a cultist of Zodh, an evil deity from beyond our mortal realm. Tonight, you and your fellows have gathered for a single purpose - to determine who is cunning, murderous, and devoted enough to become Zodh's holy Vessel, through which He shall lay waste to the world. Only one will survive - though survival alone means nothing without the favour of Zodh!

Vessel of Zodh is an extremely rules-lite skirmish game where each player controls only a single cultist, who tries to become the Vessel of Zodh by ruthlessly murdering the opposition and praying enough so that Zodh doesn't eat them at the end of the road. In just two pages, you'll find all the rules needed to play the game, with the first page containing the core rules, and the second page containing additional rules for what to do once your cultist has met its unfortunate demise, and for more interactive and vertical terrain.

Originally developed for the One Page Game Jam, and expanded upon for the One Box Wargame Challenge.

Changelog 05/11/2024:

- Reworked some parts of the original rules for increased clarity and legibility.

- Added Trackers file,  on which players can track their Hit Points, Favour, and Initiative. To be printed on a regular A4, preferably thicker paper.

- Added an Expansion! In Abominations, players not only contend with one another, but also with a malformed, half-ascended Abomination controlled by its own AI!

When printing the booklet (and the Expansion), choose for the 'Booklet' option in Adobe (or other PDF program). You'll need to snip off a few white borders to end up with a nice, clean booklet, but with a good pair of scissors, that shouldn't be an issue!
